Who We Are
Intracoastal NATS is a chapter of the
National Association
of Teachers of Singing, serving local NATS
members in the South Florida counties of Martin,
Broward, and Palm Beach. With over 5,000 members,
NATS is the largest association of teachers of
singing in the world. Its members include private
studio and school teachers, university and college
voice professors and coaches, choral and opera
directors, composers, researchers, journalists, and
voice care professionals.
As part of the
Southeast Region of the national organization
which includes chapters in Florida, Georgia, and
Alabama, members of ICNATS participate in the
regional auditions and other sponsored activities.
Our goals include the professional advancement of
talented singers and the enrichment of the general
public.
